Questions to ask yourself

What is Prioritas?

Prioritas is the first independent medical advice and support service in Spain.
We advise, accompany and support individuals and families to make the best decisions to protect their most valuable asset: their health. Prioritas services will guide patients through the most serious and complex medical decisions they will face, connecting them with the best specialists. And we will do so by accompanying them throughout the process.

I have private health insurance.
Are Prioritas services included?

Prioritas is a service that is independent of your health insurance in order to avoid any conflict of interest when looking for the best medical option. If you have a reimbursement policy for free choice of doctor, please consult with your health insurance company.

Difference between services.
What does my health insurance and Prioritas give me?

We only work for our client and have no conflict of interest with any type of specialist or hospital. With Prioritas, we will guide you through what can be an incredibly confusing, time consuming and resource intensive process to help prevent unnecessary or inappropriate treatments, finding the best possible solution and we will search through all possible alternatives to find the ones that best suit your case.

How does the process of working with Prioritas begin?

When a prospective client contacts Prioritas, a member of our sales team will have a conversation to get a first impression of the case, ask a few questions and explain our methodology. Within a maximum of 48 hours, the client will be contacted again to present a quote for services and a service contract. Once the budget is approved, in less than 72 hours you will have a meeting with our medical director to discuss your case and all the information you provide us with.

How do we select the best medical specialists?

We consult a wide variety of sources to select the best specialists, based on their training, years of specialization, number of surgeries and treatments, hospital settings in which they operate and other data.

Database with leading specialists, medical directors, heads of hospital units and researchers.
Medical advisory committee formed by renowned doctors.
Network of the best hospitals and private medical centers in Spain.

Each specialist we recommend is first contacted with us to confirm the information we have and their availability to treat the case.

How are Prioritas services contracted?

The medical advisory services are contracted with the signing of a contract for the provision of advisory services between our client and Prioritas.

From there, the medical advice begins to find the best specialist.
Once the client has decided with whom he/she wants to be treated, he/she will decide if he/she wants to contract the accompanying services.

Additionally, Prioritas services can be contracted through a personalized subscription program that includes medical check-ups and other exclusive services for executives and other groups.
